“40500 slum-dwellers vaccinated till now at Kathputli Colony, New Delhi, since April 4, 2021”
New Delhi, January 21, 2o22:
Renowned real estate company Raheja Developers organized vaccination camps for the workers at Raheja Vanya, Sector 99A of Gurugram where the laborers took dose of Covishlield. The camp was conducted by Doctors for You and organized by Pravasi Bandhu Programme. The purpose of the event was to inform the workers about the global pandemic COVID- 19 and to motivate them to take protection. Full care of COVID protocols was taken at the camp including mask discipline, temperature check, sanitization etc.
Similar drive started at Kathputli Colony New Delhi on April 4, 2021, where 40500 slum-dwellers have been vaccinated till now and the drive is continuously going on there.
Expressing his happiness on this event, Nayan Raheja of Raheja Developers said, “It is the moral responsibility of all of us to motivate the desired people of the society for vaccination. Governments are doing their job but we all have to come forward so that more people can get the dose and develop immunity.”
