F&S Minister Imran Hussain honours doctors for their selfless and dedicated effort and undeterred spirit during the covid 19 pandemic

Food & Civil Supplies Minister Imran Hussain felicitated distinguished Doctors on 14th October,2021 at Delhi Secretariat to honour them for their selfless and dedicated effort and undeterred spirit during the covid 19 pandemic. The Minister presented the Doctors a shawl and Covid Warrior appreciation certificate. On this occasion Dr. Sravan Bagaria, Secretary to Minister (Food & Civil Supplies; Abhishek Jain, Member Advisory committee, Delhi Minority Commission; Manish Jain, Social worker and other senior officers and staff members of the Minister’s office were also present.
Imran Hussain applauded them and said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, our frontline and medical workers, especially our doctors and paramedics, saved lives by putting their own lives at risk. He said “We respect Doctors for their tireless services and for saving the lives of people. I would like to extend my gratitude to all of you for your dedication and hard work.”
Amongst the doctors who were facilitated as Covid warriors included Dr. D K Chauhan, Dr. R K Sachdeva, Dr. V K Upadhyaya, Dr. Ankit Jain , Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Dr. Bhuvandeep Gupta , Dr. Himanshu Sharma for their utmost dedication during the COVID19 pandemic period.
On this occasion, Imran Hussain said, “I feel immense pleasure in honouring these brave Doctors. These doctors have done commendable work in the medical field from March 2020 till today. I applaud the services rendered by doctors and other paramedical staff. It is time to recognize the goodwill of the doctor by the virtue of their providing service to the citizens.”
The Minister added that the Delhi Government’s healthcare system was no less than the private healthcare system in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
Concluding the event, F&S Minister Imran Hussain once again extended his gratitude to all the doctors present during the felicitation ceremony for their precious contribution in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
