Vipin Sharma, a 35 year old male while on a vacation to Nainital, developed chest pain lasting more than 30 seconds. The local general practitioner found evidence of heart attack by Angiocardiography. He was subsequently shifted to a local cardiac specialty hospital for further management. He was put in intensive therapy however; his BP was still very low. Seeing the need for better care, he was shifted through air ambulance to Delhi Heart Centre. He was stabilized, Angiocardiography was redone which showed 70% of blockage. (Not sure what is intended here- Stenting was advised for colour Doppler Angiocardiography show no evidence of blockage.)
- Any patient, even in remote areas can be stabilized with Clot Dissolving Therapy
- Patient can be referred or transported to any heart center in the country through air ambulance

- In such a case, a patient’s life can be saved and an unnecessary stenting could be avoided.
