Acharya Balkrishna admitted to AIIMS

Acharya Balkrishna was on Friday admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh  after he complained of giddiness. Balkrishna, who heads Patanjali Yogpeeth, was first taken to a hospital in Haridwar from where he was referred to AIIMS in Rishikesh, sources in the yoga institute said.

Yog Guru Ramdev said, ” Thanks to all who showed there concern about Ach Balkrishna’s health. One Man brought Peda on the occasion of Janmashtami,  after having which Ach Balkrishna was unconcious for some hours. But now his health is improving and coming to normal slowly & slowly. By the grace of God and all of your blessings he will be fine very soon. He said,  He has spoken to Acharyaji for about 5 minutes, he will take another 2to 3 hours to overcome and will be fine very soon and  is thankful to all doctors in AIIMS.”

Dr Ravi Kant ,Director AIIMS, Rishikesh said, ” His BP, Pulse, ECG, MRI Brain etc are normal, everything is under control, we have sent the PEDA sample to toxicology. Ach Balkrishan ji is fine, all parametres are stable and likely to be discharged today.

He was admitted in the ICU around 4.15 pm on Friday, AIIMS Medical Superintendent. He was restless, He is under the observation of a specialist team said, AIIMS Medical Superintendent Brahmaprakash.

“Some tests have been done which show that his vital parameters are normal. A neurophysician and a cardiologist have examined him and he is stable. An advice of Neurologist screening MRI Brain done and found normal limit. Patient shifted to Deptt of Critical Care Medicine for further Management.” Brahmaprakash said.
