Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Panchkula launched ‘Swacch Bharat Mission’

Paying rich tributes to father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar urged the people to take pledge to keep their surroundings clean and join hands with the government to achieve the objective of ‘Swacch Bharat Mission’.

To honor the Pledge, Bharat Swabhiman Trust popularly known as Patanjali group under the able guidance of Dr. Jaideep Arya, Chairman Haryana Yog Council, launched Swacch Bharat Mission’ with special focus on undertaking special cleanliness drive, promoting behavioral changes, improving hygiene & sanitation practices and spreading the message of Swachhta, which has assumed renewed significance to contain the spread of the Corona virus in current times.

The cleanliness drive was undertaken at Open Air theatre outside Yoga Pyramid in Sector-3, Panchkula, which was in shambles. All the wings of Patanjali Group, Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Patanjali Yog Samiti, Yuva Bharat, Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti, Kisan Seva Samiti, Bharat Swabhiman Legal Cell and Social Media Cell participated in this special cleanliness drive represented by their heads and volunteers.

Sh. Navin Chand, Rajya Prabhari Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Sh. Umesh Narang, Advocate State Coordinator Bharat Swabhiman legal cell, District Coordinators Sh. Surat Walia Sh. Satyapal, Sh. Ramesh Chander Sharda, Sh. Janardan Maurya, Sh. Mukesh Agrawal, Sh. Umesh Mittal, Sh. Ritesh Bansal and Smt. Poonam Sinha alongwith more than 50 volunteers participated in this program.

A special Tea made from Parijat flowers was also distributed. Sh. Umesh Narang told that more such programs will continue till 15th of October, 20 in different parts of Panchkula.
