New Delhi, July 5, 2021:

Dr Jyoti Kapoor, Gurugram based consultant psychiatrist and founder & director of ‘Manasthali, Mental Health, and wellness services’ had been successfully running COViD Mental Health Support Helpline since April 2021 onwards with the help of a team of qualified psychologist volunteers and social workers which received immense response from people.

The need for continued mental health support due to our highly stressful lifestyle and plethora of people informally approaching for discussing their emotional issues inspired her to transform the COViD specific helpline to general mental health support helpline thus, Manasthali has launched Manasthali’s Mental Health Support Helpline चलो बात करें, with a dedicated psychologist which is aimed at giving education, guidance, and support to people wanting to talk about their psychological and emotional issues.

The valedictorian function to thank the volunteers who contributed valuable time and skill for the sake of the COVID helpline was held at Manasthali premises in Gurugram on the evening of July 4, 2021, which was also broadcast live on Manasthali’s Facebook page.

The event also marked the launch of Mental Health support helpline (9958836867) . The helpline would be managed by M’s Sharmishtha Sarkar (Psychologist) under the supervision of M’s Aishwarya Raj ( Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist) and Dr Jyoti Kapoor ( Senior Psychiatrist and Director- Manasthali).
