NTPC –DBFHQ  projects have provided  financial support of Rs 15.25 Lakhs

NTPC Ltd. is at the forefront of multiple initiatives to fight the COVID-19 pandemic disease, while also committed to provide 24 x7 power to the country.

NTPC Stations located in NCR i.e. DBF HQ, NTPC Dadri, NTPC Faridabad, NTPC Badarpur, & APCPL, Jhajjar located in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi have till date provided total financial support of Rs 15.25 Lakhs to their respective district administration/local authorities to deal with this pandemic, for arranging medical support, and distribution of PPEs, food packets. Even Ladies Club of NTPC Dadri has provided financial support of Rs. 3 Lakhs to District Administration, Gautam Budh Nagar.

In addition to the distribution of masks and gloves to all our employees and contractual staff, approx. 30,000 masks, 140 sets of Gloves and 110 PPEs have also been distributed to the stranded labourers, district administration, police and medical authorities in Dadri, Faridabad and Jhajjar district. Approx. 700 litre of sanitizers, Bleaching Powder and 2600 Nos. of Soaps have been provided to District Administration and Village Panchayat for Sanitization and distribution to people. Furthermore, as part of our corporate social responsibility, DBF HQ, NTPC Dadri, NTPC Faridabad, NTPC Badarpur, & APCPL Jhajjar had distributed approx.70,000 Kgs of food grains and food items packets among stranded migrant labourers, underprivileged families etc.
Fogging & liquid spraying for mosquitoes is being done in no. of villages adjoining the plant area by these NTPC stations.

Additionally, banners have been displayed at various locations in all villages in the vicinity of the plant area to make public aware of COVID-19 and Aarogya Setu App.All across the nation, NTPC projects and stations are undertaking various activities for the welfare of the underprivileged persons and migrant workers in the vicinity of NTPC.
