Gurugram/ Chandigarh, February 14 2022:

Support groups have been created world over to bring people with similar problems together so that they can better deal with isolation and loneliness, learn necessary skills from each other to ride over the situation and also find an opportunity to help others by empathising and sharing their own experiences.

At Manasthali, we understand the importance of emotional support as an environment to make leaking and recovery happen. For close to 9 months we are successfully running support group for young people with personality issues leading to depression, anxiety and other symptoms that make it hard for them to adapt to society.

Inspired by the success of this group, manasthali has introduced two more support groups for our senior patrons who are above 60years of age and struggling with psychological and emotional issues as well as Child and Adolescent mental wellness support group for our clients between age groups of 12 to 17 years.

The group is formed by invitation only and is moderated by Manasthali’s psychologists under the supervision of consultant clinical Psychology Aishwarya Raj and senior psychiatrist Dr Jyoti Kapoor and is contributed to by experts in the field of medicine, alternative therapy like yoga and naturopathy experts and music therapy experts.

We hope the members of our groups take on the challenges they face and make them into opportunities. This is our way of celebrating Valentine’s Day, to share the love we feel for the brave hearts dealing with mental problems and willing to seek help and support for a better life.
