Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals Partners with Kulwanti Hospital to establish presence in Kanpur

New Delhi, December 03, 2020:

In order to expand presence in Tier II and Tier III cities of northern India and cater to the marginalized sector of the society, leading healthcare provider Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals has collaborated Kulwanti Hospital to operate a 70 bed super-specialty hospital in Kanpur.

The new facility is planning to upgrade the existing Kulwanti Hospital in Kanpur by adding secondary and tertiary care facilities such as state-of-the art MRI, CT and Cath lab services. The new facility is called Ujala Cygnus Kulwanti Hospital. The collaboration marks the entry of the Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals in Kanpur and with this hospital; the group has added one more feather to its cap in Uttar Pradesh.

“We are happy to announce that we are collaborating with the prestigious Kulwanti Hospital to provide the high quality treatment in affordable price to the marginalized section of the society. We are planning to convert the existing Kulwanti Hospital to a super-specialty hospital with advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities. In Ujala Kulwanti Hospital, Kanpur, Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals will bring its healthcare expertise and manage the day to day operations. This move will help us improve the availability of secondary and tertiary care to the large population in Kanpur and adjoining areas,” said Dr Shuchin Bajaj, Founder & Director, Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals.

Ujala Cygnus Kulwanti Hospital has already started operations of general specialties and has plan to invest further to build 40 more beds in existing set up of facility by the next financial year in order to meet the medical needs of underserved population in Kanpur. Key clinical programs include General Surgery, Orthopedics, pediatrics, Gynecology, IVF, Internal Medicine, ENT to name a few. The hospital will provide a 24*7 Emergency and Trauma Centre, ICU and NICU facilities as well as advanced Radiology and Pathology services.
