World’s Largest Ayurvedic Eye Care Chain, Sreedhareeyam – the renowned Ayurvedic Group based out of Koothattukulam in Ernakulam District of Kerala, announced its foray into Hyderabad and started a new branch of the Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Care Hospitaland Panchakarma Centre, at Chirag Ali Lane, Hyderabad. Sreedhareeyam is a pan-Indian Ayurvedic Ophthalmology chain that blends the centuries of tradition with the precision of modern technology.
The Hyderabad branch of Sreedhareeyam is the 39th branch in India. It has branches in eleven cities in Kerala, besides presence in 12 other major cities pan India including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru. Sreedhareeyam aims to set up one hundred branches in all, across India in a phased manner. In a year’s time we are palnning to open seven Outpatient centers in the combined Telugu states, four in Telangana and three in Andhra Pradesh. The Group has a GMP certified manufacturing unit for Ayurvedic medicines and formulations, Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Medicines and its Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Village has twenty villas of international Standards for all treatments.
Speaking on the occasion N.P. Sreejith Namboothiri, Executive Director, Sreedhareeyam said, I have always had an ambitious vision to make Sreedhareeyam a national phenomenon. We have plans to open over 100 eye care centers across India, we will be adding the other 61 eye care centers by March 2022. Our next branch will be launched in the national capital, New Delhi. Our mission is to treat the millions suffering from eye ailments and gift them the blessing of vision by adhering to the traditional treatment and ethical values.
Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Care Hospital and Panchakarma Centre, provides treatment through Ayurveda for major eye ailments and complications related to Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Detachment of Retinaand Hyperaemia Retinae. The Panchakarma and other traditional treatments it offers include Pizhichil, Dhara, Njavarakizhi, Elakizhi, Nasyam, Swedam, Dhara and Tharpanam. We will also have specialists visiting the hospital at Hyderabad from Kerala. Our Hospital has expertise in providing curative care for several major ailments and therefore is more focused on curative treatment than preventive care.

The hospital has received the prestigious NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers) accreditation with effect from August 03, 2012.The hospital also holds numerous other certifications like the Green Leaf Certification from the government of Kerala, ISO Certification and is recognized by the Government of India as a Centre of Excellence for Ayurvedic Ophthalmology.
