From every corner of the world, from wherever, every effort was made to get whatever could be available. Similarly, the production of essential medicines was increased manifold, leaving no stone unturned to bring them from wherever they are available abroad.

The most effective weapon in the fight against an invisible and transforming enemy like Corona, is the Covid protocol, the mask, the distance of two yards and all other precautions are to be followed. Due to this belief, when our scientists were still doing their research work, we started logistics and other preparations. In India, the government supported the companies making vaccines for India in every way. Vaccine manufacturers were assisted in clinical trials, funds were provided for research and development, the government at every level walked shoulder to shoulder with them.
Thousands of crores were also made available to them through Mission Kovid Suraksha under the Self-Reliant India Package. Due to the continuous efforts and hard work that the country has been doing for a long time, the supply of vaccine is going to increase even more in the coming days. Today 7 companies in the country are producing different types of vaccines. Trial of three more vaccines is also going on at an advanced stage.
To increase the availability of the vaccine, the process of buying vaccines from companies of other countries has also been expedited. In recent times, some experts have also raised concerns about our children. Trial of 2 vaccines is going on fast in this direction too. Apart from this, research is also going on in the country on a ‘Nasal’ vaccine. It will be sprayed in the nose by giving it not with a syringe. If the country gets success on this vaccine in the near future, it will further accelerate India’s vaccine campaign.

Making a vaccine in such a short time is a great achievement in itself for the entire humanity. But it also has its limits. Private hospitals will be able to charge a maximum service charge of Rs 150 for a single dose after the fixed price of the vaccine. The task of monitoring it will be with the state governments only.
